First Visits
It is the policy of the centre that your child's visit to our centre are only for a period of one hour until they are happily settled in the centre.
With some children, this can take a long period of time because it is their first time in any formal child care. -

Bookings & Rates
We have a three booking system. Each child can have two bookings in advance at a time. It is a good idea to ring the morning of your visit to make a booking for the next one.
We are here from 8:00 am. Fees are to be paid after each visit, although you may pay your fees in advance. Please note that only Direct Debit or Credit Card will be accepted for payment of any fees. No cash payments can be taken. Please be aware that the hours booked for your child must be paid for regardless of your late arrival or early departure. This will not apply If the staff have contacted you to suggest early collection of your child due to illness or upset.Casual Rates
1st Child – $14.50 per hour
2nd Child – $12.50 per hourRegular Rates

Registrations
12 month Registration costs $100.00 (per calendar Year Jan-Dec) with a yearly Fund Raising Levy $100.
The centre closes registrations between July – August, and at the committee’s discretion. We have over 2OO families involved in our Centre. Registration costs are non-refundable and are only payable via Direct Debit or Credit Card.Due to the number of Registered Families in any given year, we would appreciate if your child/children could start before June/July, as the number of places become increasingly limited as the year progresses.

Late Collections
Please respect that the centre closes at 3:30 pm. If you are late, a fee of $1.00 per minute applies.

Permanent Places
The centre has limited number of permanent places per day, i.e. 8:30am-3:30pm. These are given to children in October for the following year. If interested, please ask co-ordinator to place name on waiting list. Conditions apply to these places.
If your child holds a permanent booking at the centre, you are required to pay the full day’s booking fee regardless of sickness or non-attendance. The centre requires two full weeks’ notice prior to cancellation of a permanent place, failure to do so means two weeks fees will be charged in lieu. Children who are placed on the waiting list for permanent places must have attended the centre the year before they are offered a place. -

Cancellations of Childcare Booking
Prior to the day, or by 8:45am on the day, no charge applies. If you fail to advise the centre, after that time the full rate of your booking will apply.
As we are a non-profit organization we rely on the fees to retain the staff and to be able to keep DOCC a resourced, safe and a learning environment for your child.
